.day four

Heute ist Tag 4 an der NaNoWriMo Front. Die letzten Tage waren ganz okay.
.Tag 1: Ich startete mit 4898 Worten und ohne plot in den Wettbewerb...
.Tag 2: Suche nach einem Plot. Ich habe tatsächlich einen gefunden aber durch ein technisches Problem habe ich zwei ganze Szenen von ca. 3500 Worten insgesammt, verloren. Anstatt jedoch aufzugeben und mich in Selbstmitleid zu baden, war ich zu meiner eigenen Überraschung eher angepisst und so habe ich die verschwundenen Szenen und mehr noch einmal in Rekordzeit geschrieben. Die erste Hürde, 10K, wurden dabei geknackt. Yey für mich!
.Tag 3: Ich hatte Angst nicht schreiben zu können, da der Plot sich verdichtet und ich in schwammige Gewässer komme, aber es lief gut.
.Tag 4: Ich hab den mir vorgenommenen Wordcount schon heute nacht geknackt und nach ein paar beruflichen/photographischen Mails gehts weiter.

Motivation wird noch groß geschrieben, ich habe noch Spaß bei der Sache und habe mich gestern auch erstmal mit einem threadless T-Shirt belohnt :)

Außerdem habe ich Schreibprogramme gewechselt und schreibe nun mit der Freeware. Q10 writer. Es ist ein großartiges, kleines Programm, das an eine digitale Schreibmaschine erinnert und alles andere ausblendet, so dass man nicht abgelenkt wird. Perfect also für jeden NaNoWriMo Autor.
Zurück zu den Mails und dann zum Wordcount. Liest das hier irgend ein NaNoWriMo-ler? Wie läuft es bei euch?

Today is the beginning of Day 4 on the NaNoWriMo front. The last three days were kinda okay. What I did
.Day 1: Began wtih great 4898 words and without any plot...
.Day 2: Searched for a plot and actually found one. Due to a technical problem I lost two whole scenes of about 3500 words but I to my own surpirsed I was more pissed than sad and wrote the whole szenes and more again in less time. Actually made it over the big first 10k border. Go me!
.Day 3: Actually I feared not to be able to write that day because the plot is getting more complicated but it went fine.
.Day 4: Yes, I actually wrote my official workload tonight but I'll keep going after some buisness/photographic mails

The spirits are high and I treated myself with a beautiful threadless T-Shirt yesterday.

I also switched writing programms and currently use the Q10 writer. It's an amazing and very basic free writing programm. Think of it like a digital typewriter. I just adore it. Also it takes over the whole desktop and hides everything else so there are no distractions. Perfect programm for a NaNoWriMo writer.
Back to mails and than to the word count. Any other NaNo-er reading this? How is it going?

Ich weiß, lange, lange kein Eintrag. Dafür könnten in nächster Zeit einige folgen, denn ich war relativ aktiv. Nicht ganz so sehr, wie ich es mir erhofft hatte, aber dennoch ist einiges geschehen. Bald hier:

Solange mal etwas ganz anderes: Ein Gratisbuch für euch von niemand anderem als dem von mir vergötterten Neil Gaiman. Dieser stellt nämlich wieder einmal eines seiner Bücher gratis online, was ich für einen großartigen Schachzug halte um seine Bücher zu promoten und "an den Mann" zu bringen (nicht, dass er das nötig hätte). Diesmal ist es sein Buch Niemalsland, das zufälligerweise das erste Buch ist, das ich jemals von ihm gelesen habe. Leider verhindert mein siebartiges Hirn, dass ich mich daran erinnere, wie ich darauf gestoßen bin, aber für euch ist das ja egal.

And now to different things: A free book for you by the well known and worshipped (at least by me...) Neil Gaiman. He and his publisher put one of his books online again which I think is a wonderful thing to promote his books and bring more people into reading them 'though I guess there already is a legion of fans out there- me being one...
This time the chosen book is Neverwhere, the first one of his books I ever read. Unfortunately my sieve-like brain refuses to tell me where how I got my fingers on it but I guess that does not really matter to you, anyway.
