.what kind of noise does an anteater make, anyway?

Und weil ich einfach seltsam bin, unterstütze ich auch seltsame Sachen. Wie den Plan dem Staten Island Zoo einen Mexikanischen Ameisenbär zu kaufen und ihn (je nach Geschlecht) entweder "Neil" oder "Coraline" Gaiman zu nennen. Hab ich da gerade obsessives Fangirl gehört? Wer war das, der so unverschämte Lügen in die Welt setzt??
Ah, wie auch immer. Vielleicht ist hier ja noch jemand so seltsam wie ich und möchte diesen seltsamen Akt auch unterstützen- denn immerhin kommt er ja den Kindern in New York zu Gute, da die Anschaffung dieses Tieres zu erzieherischen Zwecken ist- soll einfach mal hier vorbeischauen und vielleicht spenden. Falls bis zum 22.09.2008 nicht die ganze Summe gesammelt wurde, muss niemand zahlen, falls doch heißt es: Hallo Coraline/Neil Gaiman im Staten Island Zoo.
Also, auf, auf zum Ameisenbärkauf

Because I am really weired I like to endow strance causes. Like buying a mexican anteater for the Staten Island Zoo and name it Coraline or Neil Gaiman... Did anyone say obsessive fangirl? Who tells such absurd lies?!
Ah... whatever. Maybe somebody else here is as strange as me and wants to endow that cause, too- after all it is mostly for education purposes because the Staten Island Zoo was founded for exact that reason: Education. So, help educating kids and help buying an anteater! Just have a look at this link and maybe give some money. If the goal is not reached, you do not need to pay at all. Ich weiß, lange, lange kein Eintrag. Dafür könnten in nächster Zeit einige folgen, denn ich war relativ aktiv. Nicht ganz so sehr, wie ich es mir erhofft hatte, aber dennoch ist einiges geschehen. Bald hier:

Solange mal etwas ganz anderes: Ein Gratisbuch für euch von niemand anderem als dem von mir vergötterten Neil Gaiman. Dieser stellt nämlich wieder einmal eines seiner Bücher gratis online, was ich für einen großartigen Schachzug halte um seine Bücher zu promoten und "an den Mann" zu bringen (nicht, dass er das nötig hätte). Diesmal ist es sein Buch Niemalsland, das zufälligerweise das erste Buch ist, das ich jemals von ihm gelesen habe. Leider verhindert mein siebartiges Hirn, dass ich mich daran erinnere, wie ich darauf gestoßen bin, aber für euch ist das ja egal.

And now to different things: A free book for you by the well known and worshipped (at least by me...) Neil Gaiman. He and his publisher put one of his books online again which I think is a wonderful thing to promote his books and bring more people into reading them 'though I guess there already is a legion of fans out there- me being one...
This time the chosen book is Neverwhere, the first one of his books I ever read. Unfortunately my sieve-like brain refuses to tell me where how I got my fingers on it but I guess that does not really matter to you, anyway.
